I'm so excited to get the keys to our new apartment on Friday. We bought a 1 bedroom on the 3rd floor of a building that we can actually see from where we live right now. Kringsjå is a neighborhood way up on the top of Oslo bordering the forest that surrounds the city. You can see a good view of the neighborhood here:

We're going to redo the kitchen, the living room floor and some of the walls before we move in (hopefully), so I'll put up our own pics when it's all done. Right now, I'm on top of the city and on top of the world with the idea of our own place. More than one room, a fantastic neighborhood and a sense of settling in, ahhh.
